A big "thank you" goes out to everyone who helped out: the bakers, Wizard's Tower for generously providing locations, and of course everyone who came out to buy some goods. We raised $140.68 which will be donated to Doctors Without Borders promptly. Thanks again!

Cakes For Quake Victims: A Vegan Bake Sale
Saturday, April 24 at Wizard's Tower Barrhaven. [Likely] starting at 10am!
Sunday, April 25 at Wizard's Tower Kanata. Starting at 12 pm!

As such, I am requesting a final call-out for a few more bakers! If you are interested, please comment or e-mail me. Thanks!

Volunteers Wanted

Cakes for Quake Victims is currently looking for volunteers to help with baking and signage.

Bakers: Some baking knowledge is required. You will have to be comfortable using vegan baking alternatives. Check the "Vegan Baking Tips" page for more info. Individuals familiar with gluten-free baking are also most welcome.

Signage: Required signs include: a banner for the table at the event, flyers for posting in the community, perhaps a banner for this blog, and placards with names, prices, and ingredients in the baked goods. Signs can be done by hand or on the computer.
